It was wet, cold and away from home but we had a good turn out of 19 players. After a good hours warm up we are prepared to face the well built argum team.
Charlie Life captained the team and the pack, James harris controlling the back line. Rob harris starts the game off with a high hanging drop kick which charlie life chased with great speed, as the agrum forward caught the ball he also got a big part of charlies shoulder knocking him to the ground, with james browse following quickly to complete the turn over. totnes were camped in the argum half for fair amount of the first half but only came away with 3 point from a penatly kick converted by Tom Dyer.
The second half kicked of with pocession changing from team to team, but finally after a long spell in agrums half rob harris sneaks in a try from the back of a ruck with tom dyer converting it. the game was over and after a further 10 minutes of play the referee called it as he blew his whistle.

Sunday 1st November Totnes 15s vs Newton abbout 15s

started off well, with totnes camped in newtons half for a good 10 mins, but after a good attack newton cleared the danger and newton escaped without conseeding points.
after a long first half totnes went down by ten points after two break away tries in open play, but charlie life captain on totnes didnt let his teams heads drop and with confident young coach callum browse was shouting from the side lines with instructions. totnes came back in the second half with venum and James harris made a dashing run and managed to score a try early in the second half against a big and powerful defensive effort from newton. this lifted the spirits of the players and crowd alike with the crowd getting behind totnes.
however newton again in open play had there winger sneak in a try making the score 15-5. charlie life still didnt let his teams head drop and after a team talk under the posts they stormed back to score a well organised try through a maul with James Browse scoring the try. Tom Dyer converted the try making it 15-12 to newton. Totnes came right back with tom dyer kicking off again, captain charlie, tom atkin and james browse chased the kick with the intent to win it back, charlie tackled the reciever, james and tom turned the ball over and totnes were back on the attack. after a long attack charlie life ran in the winning try with 5 minutes left to play.
the score was 17-15 and the ball spent the whole final 5 minutes in totnes's 22 but after a knock on by newton the referee blew the whistle and totnes had won.
The man of the match was matt hodgson, for his big tackles and excellent runs after coming on as a sub but was a major impact player.

Sunday 22nd November Totnes vs Brixham-Friendly

the game today as hard, just from the big opposion but the elements too. the day started off with strong wind and heavy down pour but we still had a strong team to face brixham. the game was kicked off by brixham and for a major part of the first half the play went back and forth. brixham towards the end of the first half were camped in totnes's 22 and keep pounding away at our defence but then they kicked it away and gave totnes a 22 drop out which tom dyer took quickly and put us in brixhams 22 and after a big rolling maul which was charged by captain charlie life and vice captain james browse, lewis hughes peeled off and scored the first try of the game.
second half kicked off, and again play continued back and fourth and play for big duration of the game was spent in the centre of the pitch, but nearing the end of the game brixham kicked it up a gear and with the wind with them and the advantage of having subs there was no stoping them as they ran in 3 well worked tries.
